Para despertarnos con las noticias más importantes, no hay como recibir una nominación a la estatuilla que es objeto de los deseos de cualquier actor, actriz, director, guionista, compositor, animador o artista gráfico relacionado con la industria. Así es que Hace escasos minutos, el presidente de la Academia de Hollywood, Tom Sherak, y la actriz Anne Hathaway, han presentado al mundo la lista de nominaciones de los Oscar 2010. Este año, con una novedad muy en especial: Las nominadas a Mejor Película pasan a ser diez, en lugar de las cinco nominadas de los anteriores años. Tal y como esperábamos en esta, la octogésima segunda entrega del Oscar de la Academia, Avatar está nominada en 9 rubros: Dirección, Dirección Artística, Cinematografía, edición, canción original, Mejor película, Edición de Sonido, Mezcla de Sonido y Efectos Visuales. The Hurt Locker, la película dirigida por Kathryn Bigelow ex ex - esposa de James Cameron y que arrasara en los Globos de Oro y en general en los premios de la crítica; también se alza con 9 nominaciones: Actor Principal Jeremy Renner, Cinematografía, Dirección, Edición, Canción Original, Mejor Película, Edición de Sonido, Mezcla de Sonido, Guión Original y efectos visuales. Inglorious Basterds también logra un gran número de nominaciones, un total de ocho, en las categorías: Dirección, Mejor película, Christoph Waltz como actor secundario, Guión Original, Edición, Cinematografía, Sonido y Edición de Sonido. ¿Quién ganará?
